An Injury That Changed My Life
A letter by Valucha Hamovitz
Dear Readers,
I am not going to convince you of my belief. I am only going to tell you the way God changed my life. I have been a yoga teacher for over 30 years. I fell in love with it because a tragic injury damaged my stomach and caused me to lose part of my intestines leading to poor digestion and absorption of nutrients. It left me with physical and emotional scars. I was not able to move my body well for awhile. My body needed time for healing.
I suffered the pains of being a teenager, and the feelings of loneliness of not being able to play with my friends. All this made me very sad. I didn’t like the misery I was living. As a deep thinker since a young age, I knew if I wanted to heal and get back on my feet it would solely depend on me. No one could do it for me. I decided to get up and face my reality instead of running from it. From that moment on I have been taking charge of my destiny. My journey toward enlightenment began. Each moment of my life I feel my energy moving from dark to light.
I am a deep believer that life is an endless process of enlightenment. The duality in it, echoes transcendental evolution. Life and death are a dance of energies constantly moving toward transformation. I cannot see or read the minds that create so many changes in our lives but I can feel the effect of them. This proves that we all are experiencing simultaneously the effects of different qualities of energies that are affecting our lives forever. For sure we are not only our physical bodies. Our energy is affecting everything we do especially the choices we make and the relationships we create. Visible or invisible our energy is here leading us to something greater than we know.
When the natural laws of life are intuitively applied correctly, clarity and profound changes in us are able to emerge. In someway I am lucky to experience it in my body. God expressed this unseen energy of transformation through the doctor’s hands. My destiny would be very dark if science and medicine could not help me twice. For this I am grateful to technology, medicine and science and what life can offer to me now. The invisible manifestation of an endless energy toward healing, light has raised the quality of many lives including mine. Intuitively man is starting to grasp the infinite possibilities that life has to offer. To me this is only a beginning. When we talk about science and medicine we only see one reality the physical world. We never think that what is visible to the eye now once was not. What happened with our hearts, minds and spirits in this process? That unique answer about the experiences we are living lies within us. Rely on the sensitive heart that can feel and perceive this magical flow of transformation leading us to FREEDOM.
All Light,
